Welcome to Seonamseowon Confucian Academy, a historic house accommodation.

Seonamseowon Confucian Academy is located in Seonam where a stream of Dongchangcheon Stream flows in gentle meanders. This house was built in the Joseon Dynasty honoring Samjokdang Kim Daeyu and Soyodang Park Hadam. And it was designated as the Gyeongbuk Tangible Cultural Heritage No. 79. 
Seonamseowon Confucian Academy’s pillars and rafters are preserved more than 400 years, keeping the history, artistic sense and practical minds of ancestors. For those who are tired of the fast-changing society, this traditional house presents a space of relaxation with natural and old-worldly beauty.
